Carriers charge on whichever is greater, actual weight or cubic (volumetric) weight, so a light bulky parcel costs far more than its scale weight suggests.
The two sources are not interchangeable
Australia Post prices here are retail. A business with an eParcel or contract account pays less. The commercial panel is a different class of pricing, so a lower number is not automatically a better carrier. Every rate says which basis it came from.
Prices are fetched live and cached for 12 hours. Rates are indicative and exclude destination duty and tax on international parcels.
